Paul continually updates his knowledge and training in the insurance field, and is licensed in Connecticut as a Certified Insurance Consultant, and has a special Connecticut license for brokering Long Term Care products. He recently was awarded a CLU designation by The American College.
Paul has had the opportunity to work with and train CIGNA group Insurance underwriters, sales force and service staff. This truly gives him a unique insight as to how and why insurance companies calculate benefit costs, renewals and margins. With this knowledge he can negotiate the best possible rates and contracts for his clients. He also served as Sales Manager for CIGNA HealthPlan in Connecticut, and was responsible for negitiating and signing up 15 State of Connecticut Unions and their members.
Paul is a Past-President of Hartford Rotary and Avon Chamber of Commerce, a Bushnell Human Resources committee member, Farmington Valley YMCA Chairman- chaired the 2005 $100,000 Annual YMCA Support Campaign. He serves on the Town of Simsbury Insurance Board and is a Board Member of the Simsbury Chamber of Commerce, and Connecticut Theater Festival. He was the Avon Chamber of Commerce Business Person of the Year, and the Business Person of the Year by Independance Unlimited in Hartford. He enjoys golf and cycling.
Paul has raised thousands of dollars for his non-profit clients by competing in Bike Races up Mt. Washington in New Hampshire, Mt. Haleakala in Hawaii and the 12 mile Triple Bypass race in Colorado. His Ride Across Connecticut in 2006 combined a 100 mile ride with an on-site Wellness Festival, and is going to be repeated this June.

ROBERT F. EILERS, JR.
SENIOR VICE PRESIDENT
Bob has been an insurance broker since 1980. Prior to merging with Dill, Joyce & Thresher in January, 2002, he was President of Wertheim-Eilers Associates, Inc. for 20 years. Bob is a well rounded professional, working with clients in Employee Benefits, Individual Insurance, and Securities.
He has served on the Board of Directors of the Farmington Valley Branch of the YMCA, and has been Chairman of the Northwest Catholic High School Alumni Golf Tournament. He has also been elected to serve as a member on Producer Advisory Councils with several insurance carriers.
He has secured endorsements from the Connecticut State Medical Society, Middlesex County Medical Association, New London County Medical Association, Tolland County Medical Association, Windham County Medical Association, for Dill, Joyce & Thresher to act as a Third Party Administrator for individual disability, business overhead expense insurance and malpractice insurance for physicians. In his spare time, Bob enjoys golf, tennis, skiing and platform tennis.

MICHAEL D. DAGATA
Vice President/Partner
Mike has been in the health insurance industry since his graduation from Stonehill College where he received his degree in Health Care Administration. Prior to joining the DJT Team, Mike worked for the largest privately owned Third Party Administrator in the country as Director of Account Management taking away strong national account management and self-insurance skills.
For close to a decade, Mike has provided Employee Benefits Brokerage services to businesses and individuals across the state. He has earned his designation as a Group Benefits Disability Specialist (GBDS) via an elite program offered by The Hartford. He also serves as Junior Co-Chairman of the Connecticut Benefit Brokers Association (CBB). Mike also participates on Broker Advisory Committees with various insurance carriers in Connecticut.
In his spare time Mike enjoys coaching soccer as well as playing soccer, hockey and several other sports including golf, skiing, snowboarding and entering in the occasional triathlon sprint or road race.

John specializes in all lines of Commercial Insurance. He has been in the insurance industry since 1988. He began his insurance career with The Hartford Insurance as a Claims Representative. He then joined Utica National Insurance Group as a Marketing Representative where he was responsible for one of the largest territories in the company. Prior to joining DJT, John worked as an Underwriter in the Executive Protection Practice at Chubb.
John is a graduate of Providence College with a B.S. in Business / Marketing, and is currently working towards his CPCU designation. He is an active member of the West Hartford Exchange Club, St. Timothy's Church in West Hartford, and the Hartford Chapter of the Providence College Alumni Association, as well as several other local organizations.

David has been an insurance agent since 1973. Prior to merging with Dill, Joyce & Thresher, Inc. in June of 2000, he was the president of Edward J. Kernan & Co., Inc., Windsor, Conn. a family-run agency which was begun in 1880.
David attended Colgate University and was in Military Intelligence in the U.S. Army; he served in Vietnam.
David is active in the Windsor community having been a member of the Rotary Club, the Second School Society, Windsor Historical Society, First Town Downtown and the Chamber of Commerce. For more than 15 years David taught catechism and is a member of St. Joseph Parish.
